Mammoth Mountain Trips

Mammoth Mountain is the club's favorite ski destination!

The ski season at Mammoth normally starts in November. The inaugural trip each year is the Thanksgiving weekend trip. This is a special 4 day trip featuring a traditional turkey feast. The regular trips are 2 or 3 day drive-up trips. Usually the last organized trip is in April, however if conditions stay good, it's possible that the club will do a May trip.

This schedule allows for a second Big trip (which is in the works) to be planned during the middle of January.

Cost:

Two-day weekend $175 (Friday - Sunday)
Three-day weekend $195 (Thursday - Sunday)
Thanksgiving trip $310 (Wednesday - Sunday)

Trip price includes condo lodging @ Mammoth Estates and Saturday dinner. The club will provide coffee and tea for the morning. The trip price does not include lift tickets, incidentals, or any other meals. However, the Thanksgiving trip includes four nights of accomodations and features a festive turkey dinner on Thursday.

Signing Up: Last year every trip sold out, so please sign up early! Come to a meeting to sign up or download the form here and mail it to the trip coordinator. Trip Sign Up Form (PDF) You must be a member in order to go on a trip, and you must be fully paid up on the trip in order to have a confirmed spot.

Transportation: We rideshare on our Mammoth trips. This allows the club to offer both 2- and 3-day weekends that bus transportation would not allow.

* Members signing up for the 2-day trip must sign up at least one month before the trip. Just signing up for the 2-day weekend does not guarantee that you are on the trip. You will be confirmed on the trip provided there are four people to fill a two-bedroom condo. Money will be refunded to members who signed up for the 2-day trip, if we do not have enough people to fill the condo. Those who don't want to take a chance that a two- bedroom condo will be filled, should consider signing up for the three-day trip to ensure a spot on the trip.

Cancellation Policy: A full refund will be made on Mammoth trips that are cancelled at least 30 days before the trip. Cancellation made less than 30 days before the scheduled Mammoth trip will not be refunded. A full refund will be made if the cancellation is made more than 7 days prior to the scheduled Mammoth trip and a person is available on the waiting list to fill the cancellation. A $15 handling fee will be charged for cancellations less than 7 days prior to the scheduled Mammoth trip even if spot is filled.
